Teachers’ Day Through the Eyes of Aspiring Teachers

We were celebrating Teachers' Day on September 26 as September 5 was a holiday. The day was started beautifully with a prayer, a warm welcome address by our principal, and the lighting of the lamp. We all dressed up in sarees, thrilled to get into the role of teachers, as we ourselves are future teachers pursuing B.Ed.

What made the day so memorable was the enjoyment we had with our teachers. It had games, as well as laughter, and one activity where teachers were required to burst balloons glued onto the wall. There was a small note inside every balloon instructing them to tell a happy or memorable moment while teaching. Hearing their stories was heartwarming and inspirational.

We wrapped up the celebration with a large group photo, smiling and thankful. It wasn't a function it was a day when we remembered why we were on this path, and how lovely the journey of teaching can be.
