Saveathon Programme at MEACT B.Ed College


The Saveathon Programme was organized at MEACT B.Ed College under the initiative of the Department of Commerce. The main aim of the programme was to create awareness among students about the importance of saving, financial planning, and responsible money management.

The programme was inaugurated by our Principal, Dr. Santhosh Kumar Sir, who addressed the gathering. In his speech, he spoke about the value of saving habits in both personal life and professional growth. He emphasized that financial discipline is very important for a secure and stable future and encouraged students to develop the habit of regular saving.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of Jobi Sir from the Department of Commerce, who played an important role in organizing and coordinating the activities. As part of the programme, several activities such as interactive classes, quiz competitions, and discussions were held. These activities helped students understand basic financial concepts in a simple and interesting way.
Students actively participated in the programme. The session created awareness about the importance of making smart financial decisions and inspired students to make saving a regular habit in their daily lives.
