Capacity Building Program: A Day of Food, Teamwork & Learning

On November 11th, we conducted our Cultural Building Program, and this time the theme was food. Sai ma’am divided the whole class into groups of five or six, and each group was given the freedom to prepare and present different types of dishes. My group was named Pancharamukku, and we served a variety of sweet items.

The food festival was colourful and lively. There were sweets, pickles, salted dishes, traditional steamed foods, snacks, and even healthy salads almost every type of food you can imagine. It felt like a mini food fair happening inside our classroom.

The program was inaugurated by our principal, and we had special guests too the higher secondary principal, high school principal, teachers, TTC teachers, and students. Their presence made the event feel even more special.

A big part of the success was because of the TTC students. They participated wholeheartedly, especially in buying items from each group without any hesitation. Their support made the entire food festival energetic and fun.

Overall, the day taught us much more than preparing food. It helped us develop leadership, teamwork, planning, and even an understanding of how a customer shopkeeper relationship works. It was a memorable event that brought all of us together through food, creativity, and cooperation.
