Eco-Friendly Practice – A Step Towards a Greener Future

As part of the B.Ed curriculum, an Eco-Friendly Practice programme was organised at MEACT B.Ed College, Ayur, on 7th November. The programme was coordinated by Parvathy Miss, whose guidance and encouragement motivated student teachers to actively participate in activities that promote environmental protection.
The main aim of the programme was to create awareness about the importance of protecting nature and adopting sustainable habits in daily life. As part of the activity, student teachers planted saplings in different areas of the campus. They also took part in cleaning the college surroundings to maintain a neat and green environment.
Through this programme, students realised the value of environmental conservation, cleanliness, and social responsibility. It helped them understand that small actions like planting trees and keeping surroundings clean can bring big changes to the environment.
Overall, the Eco-Friendly Practice programme was a meaningful and successful initiative. It inspired student teachers to develop eco-friendly attitudes and reminded everyone about their responsibility to protect nature for a better tomorrow.
