Kerala Piravi: A Day of Culture, Colours, and Celebration
We celebrated Kerala Piravi on 4th November with everyone dressed in traditional Kerala attires. The Malayalam optional department invited us all, and the principal inaugurated the event.
The day began with a fun Rambo competition to select our Kerala Sriman and Malayali Manga. After exciting rounds and questions from teachers, Anjana was chosen as Malayali Manga and Ansaf as Kerala Sriman.
We then played several fun games. One game required us to speak only in Malayalam, which was surprisingly difficult because English words kept slipping out. Another was similar to Chinese Whisper, where the story changed completely by the time it reached the last person. The day ended with dance, music, and lots of laughter.
It was a simple, joyful celebration that brought us all closer and reminded us of our culture.
