A Day Filled with Joy: Christmas Celebration at Our College



The spirit of Christmas filled our college with joy and warmth on 23rd December, as we gathered together to celebrate the festival with great enthusiasm. The celebration was inaugurated by our Principal, Dr. Santhosh Kumar Sir, who addressed the gathering with an inspiring message.
In his speech, he shared some of his memorable experiences of celebrating Christmas during his long teaching career in schools and colleges. His words reminded us that festivals are not just celebrations, but opportunities to spread kindness, care for one another, and strengthen our sense of togetherness.
One of the most delightful moments of the programme was the cake-cutting ceremony, which brought smiles and excitement to everyone present. Following this, several cultural programmes were performed by the students.
What made the celebration even more special was the presence of both seniors and juniors. We all came together, sharing laughter, dancing, and participating in small fun activities. The friendly atmosphere created a beautiful sense of unity and happiness among everyone.
The Christmas celebration was not just a programme, but a day filled with joy, friendship, and unforgettable memories that will remain special to all of us.

The programme began with an informative session by Asiya and Revathi, who explained in detail what the ozone layer is, how it is formed, and why it is so essential for life on Earth, while also pointing out the dangers of ozone depletion and its harmful effects on both nature and human beings. Their talk helped us understand the science behind the ozone layer in a simple and clear way. After this, Anjana conducted a lively quiz on Ozone Day, which made the session more interactive and interesting, and a winner was also announced, adding enthusiasm to the programme. A beautiful start that taught us healing begins at home.

On 12th March 2026, our capacity building program began with a powerful session on stress within the family. It was an eye-opening experience that helped us realize how deeply family relationships influence our mental well-being. The session started with a clear explanation of what stress is, followed by a discussion on its common causes in family life misunderstandings, financial struggles, lack of communication, and emotional distance. What made the session truly special was how relatable everything felt. To make the session more engaging, the group conducted fun stress-relief games. These activities not only made us laugh and relax but also showed us how simple techniques can help reduce stress in our daily lives. The group also shared meaningful solutions like open communication, mutual respect, and emotional support. It reminded us that a peaceful home environment plays a key role in leading a balanced life.
