Field Trip Experience


Our college organized a one-day field trip on 18th December, which became a memorable and refreshing experience for all of us. It was a wonderful opportunity to take a short break from the busy schedule of B.Ed life and explore new places together.
Our first destination was the Chitharal Jain Temple, located near the Tamil Nadu–Kerala border. It is one of the oldest Jain temples in the region and is known for its historical and cultural importance. The temple is situated on a hilltop and is famous for its ancient rock-cut sculptures and carvings related to Jain culture. Visiting this place helped us learn about the history and heritage of Jainism while also enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
The next place we visited was the Planetarium in Thiruvananthapuram. The planetarium show was very interesting and educational. It helped us understand more about space, planets, and the universe through visual presentations, which made the learning experience enjoyable.
After the educational visits, we went to Lulu Mall for relaxation and leisure. It was a great time for everyone to relax, have food, and spend time together.
During the trip, our teachers Parvati Ma’am, Dhania Ma’am, Soumya Ma’am, and Joby Sir accompanied us and guided us throughout the journey. Their presence made the trip well organized and safe.
Overall, the field trip was informative, enjoyable, and refreshing. Even though it was a one-day trip, it helped us learn about new places while also giving us a pleasant break from our academic routine. It was truly a wonderful day for all of us.

Today our college observed Ozone Day with a special assembly that aimed to spread awareness about the importance of protecting the ozone layer. The programme began with an informative session by Asiya and Revathi, who explained in detail what the ozone layer is, how it is formed, and why it is so essential for life on Earth, while also pointing out the dangers of ozone depletion and its harmful effects on both nature and human beings. Their talk helped us understand the science behind the ozone layer in a simple and clear way. After this, Anjana conducted a lively quiz on Ozone Day, which made the session more interactive and interesting, and a winner was also announced, adding enthusiasm to the programme. A beautiful start that taught us healing begins at home.

On 12th March 2026, our capacity building program began with a powerful session on stress within the family. It was an eye-opening experience that helped us realize how deeply family relationships influence our mental well-being. The session started with a clear explanation of what stress is, followed by a discussion on its common causes in family life misunderstandings, financial struggles, lack of communication, and emotional distance. What made the session truly special was how relatable everything felt. To make the session more engaging, the group conducted fun stress-relief games. These activities not only made us laugh and relax but also showed us how simple techniques can help reduce stress in our daily lives. The group also shared meaningful solutions like open communication, mutual respect, and emotional support. It reminded us that a peaceful home environment plays a key role in leading a balanced life.
